Here's how to use The Cocoa Pod
Basic Navigation
The Contact link is at the top right. It sends an email to admin. Please use this link if you experience any problems here.
Accessibility gives you interesting information about the cocoapod.ca web application.
Site Map gives you to content that you have permission to view.
The Search tool is powerful and delivers relevant, permissions-based results.
The navigation tabs are simple and easy to use
If you hover your mouse over nearly any interface element you should get help.
Clicking on the logo takes you to the cocoapod.ca homepage.
Events and Recent Changes
The right hand column's context-sensitive menus include Navigation, a Calendar and Recent Changes.
The Navigation menu lists the folder contents of the current directory.
The Calendar is integrated with Events, which are highlighted on the Calendar.
Recent Changes lists the 5 last changes to thecocoapod.ca, displayed according to the user's permissions.
Adding New Content
To add brand assets you first login and then use the "Add" menu and choose an appropriate files description from the drop down list.

The document you are reading is a "Page" item on this list. Once you add a page you are given a template that allows you to add and edit the text and images displayed n that page.

If you would like an image to display in your page add an "Image". A .pdf or .mov are both added as a file. And so on.

Creating Image Galleries
If you add a folder you have the opportunity to select an item to be the default view of the folder. This is what a user sees when they follow a link to the folder. If you would like an image gallery, select thumbnail view. If you would like a page to display, select a content item as default view allows you to specify your default view from your available files.

Publishing
Once your pages are compete you might have to submit them to the site manager for publishing. You do this in the state drop-down menu. You can also make items private so no other users can access them. Sharing allows you to control which users can add or edit items.

Different Content Views

The content view edit menu tabs allow you to view the contents of folders as a directory listing, switch between views of your content and edit your files. The content listing allows you to rename, cut, paste, delete and change the state of your content.
